Sideshow Gives First Look At Hot Toys’ Batman XE Suit From ‘Batman: Arkham Origins’

Sideshow’s newest unboxing video gives DC Comics fans a first look at the Batman (XE Suit) (Special Edition) 1/6 Scale Figure by Hot Toys, just ahead of the worldwide release.

Following the events of Batman: Arkham Origins, Mr. Freeze launches a surprise attack on Gotham. However, Batman is prepared with a new Batsuit made for extreme conditions.

Based on the extended story “Cold, Cold Heart” from Batman: Arkham Origins, the figure by Hot Toys features a new highly detailed, masked Batman head. The muscular body has over 30 points of articulation with enhanced movement and is clad in a weathered, silver-gray Batman XE Suit with a utility belt, plus a cape with a wired hem for posing.

The Batman (XE Suit) 1/6 Scale Figure comes with a variety of signature weapons including a Cryodrill with alternate display modes, a rope gun, and Batarangs. The themed figure stand includes such diorama accessories as an ice crystal, a stair rail, and a staircase to recreate scenes from the game.

Bane Breaks The Bat In New Hot Toys Figure

In celebration of Warner Bros’ 100th anniversary, Hot Toys is treating DC Comics fans to new collectibles of iconic characters from The Dark Knight Trilogy, including Bane.

Batman emerges from exile as a new threat looms over Gotham. Born in darkness and self-appointed as a “liberator of pain,” Bane is a dangerous adversary who will challenge Batman — both physically and mentally.

Inspired by The Dark Knight Trilogy, the Bane 1/6 Scale Collectible Figure has a new hand-painted head sculpt, featuring an expertly crafted likeness of Tom Hardy as Bane with a fully sculpted mask. The figure also utilizes Hot Toys’ innovative rolling eyeball technology, giving collectors the ability to adjust the figure’s gaze when posing it for display. His costume is faithfully recreated and includes a tailored coat and jacket over a combat vest.

The beautifully tailored jacket provides the option to recreate his look from the original movie poster, while over 20 points of articulation and seamless elbows allow for a variety of poses. New Hot Toys Batmobile Unveiled From Sideshow

Ahead of its worldwide release, Sideshow is giving fans an up-close look at the new Batmobile 1/6 scale collectible vehicle by Hot Toys!

Inspired by Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight trilogy, Sideshow and Hot Toys present a stunning 1/6 scale collectible vehicle that can be paired with the Batman: The Dark Knight Rises figure (sold separately) to recreate the breathtaking action from these classic movies.

Hot Toys Unveil New Batman-Inspired 1:6 Scale Collectibles

Hot Toys recently announced it will re-release the Batman figurine based on Christian Bale’s version of The Caped Crusader in Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight Trilogy, which originally debuted in 2012.

The Batman Sixth Scale Collectible Figure is part of the brand’s DX Series and was inspired by Bale’s portrayal in The Dark Knight Rises. According to an official description posted by Sideshow, “the highly-detailed figure features two newly developed Batman helmeted head sculpts with interchangeable faces techniques design including one with LED light-up function and one with separate rolling eyeballs features.

“The figure also comes with a newly developed head sculpt of Bale-as-Bruce Wayne with accurate facial expression, detailed hair, wrinkles and skin texture and a new body that highlights Batman’s muscular frame, as well as a tailored Batsuit complete with weave carbon fiber-like detailing.Among the featured Batman gadgets are an EMP rifle with LED light-up function, a sticky bomb gun, a grapnel gun, batarangs, and mini-mines, as well as a highly elaborated stone-like diorama figure base for display. The figure also comes with six pieces of interchangeable gloved hands, a metallic utility belt and a stone-like figure base featuring steps, the movie logo and a character nameplate.

The Batman Sixth Scale Collectible Figure was recreated in accurate proportions and measures 12.6 inches in height. It is available to pre-order for $290, with an estimated arrival of April 2022 to June 2022.Hot Toys is also expected to drop an updated figurine version of the Bat-Pod — which was also appeared in The Dark Knight Rises — in the third quarter of 2022. Per the description, the Bat-Pod collectible was “recreated with extreme precision and outstanding painting applications, complemented with perfectly scaled aerodynamic design and mechanical details throughout its engine and body.” It measures 23 inches in length, features headlights with light-up function, rotatable rubber tires, and updated mechanical features such as munitions clusters, operator controls and guards, saddle, and footrest.

The Dark Knight Rises starred Christian Bale as Bruce Wayne/Batman, Tom Hardy as Bane, Anne Hathaway as Selina Kyle/Catwoman, Joseph Gordon-Levitt as John Blake, Marion Cotillard as Miranda Tate/Talia al Ghul, Michael Caine as Alfred, Gary Oldman as Commissioner Gordon and Morgan Freeman as Fox. The film was released in 2012 and concluded Nolan’s Batman trilogy.

Hot Toys Previews New ‘Arkham Knight’ Harley Quinn

Harley Quinn fans recently got a new season of her animated series, and now Hot Toys has announced their own amazing take on the character. The new 1/6 scale, 11.5 inch tall Arkham Knight figure is set for a 2021 release but can be preordered now.

Hot Toys Brings The Arkham Knight Armory Home With New Figures

Batman: Arkham Knight was filled with lots of Batsuits, especially when it came to DLC. Now, Hot Toys is going to honor those suits with a new collectible set that will make you feel like you’re in the Batcave.

Hot Toys armory set will feature figures dressed in six of the various suits you can use in the game. The figures will measure around 3.35-inches, while the display will be around 4.72-inches tall.

The Dark Knight has a long history in comics which comes with an enormous closet of a multitude of iconic suits from several forms of media entertainment spanning decades. Taking inspiration from the Batcave’s Batsuit Chamber in the popular Batman: Arkham Knight video game, Hot Toys team has modified the futuristic armor pod to accommodate the sleek batsuits in miniature size features Batman: Arkham Knight Armory Miniature Collectible Set; Batman, Batman Beyond Suit, 1989 Movie Suit, 2008 Movie Suit, Arkham Knight and Deathstroke Armory Miniature Collectible.

Hot Toys Debuts Justice League’s Superman Figure!

After their success with Batman, Aquaman, Cyborg, and Flash, Hot Toys has released photos of the latest in their line of figures based on Zack Snyder’s Justice League — The Man of Steel himself, Superman.

This brilliantly sculpted likeness of actor Henry Cavill in the coveted role that brought him stardom features a unique LED that conveys the illusion of Superman’s heat vision in his eyes.
